Twenty two time Grammy-winning band U2 has been headed to the Bay Area and they are poised for good cause.

According to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals, as a part of the seventh annual Concert for UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals, the Ireland-based group will be performing an October gig that will help to raise money for pediatric care and research, .

Tickets, which start at $1,000, are currently available for the 7 PM show on October 5 at the Cow Palace in Daly City. Starting from ticket sales along with outside sponsorships will directly benefit UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals.

UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals has informed that not to be outdone, pop artist william and MC Hammer is going to host an after party to keep the donation celebration going, .

According to the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, during previous benefit concerts, notable artists including Bruno Mars and Green Day have rocked the stage.
