The Honor X70 has been released in China. It is available in four different colors and has a large 8,300mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and wireless charging at the same speed. The phone has a 6.79-inch AMOLED screen with a very bright display of 6,000 nits. It is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, along with as much as 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The Honor X70 is also known for its top IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, which means it's well protected against dust and water. The basic Honor X70 model, which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, costs CNY 1,399 (about Rs. 16,000). The models that have 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB of RAM and storage cost CNY 1,599 (around Rs. 19,000), CNY 1,799 (about Rs. 21,000), and CNY 1,999 (close to Rs. 24,000), respectively. It comes in Bamboo Green, Moon Shadow White, Magic Night Black, and Vermillion Red colors. For now, you can only purchase it in China.
The dual SIM (Nano) Honor X70 uses MagicOS 9.0, which is built on Android 15, and features a 6.79-inch 1.5K (1,200x2,640 pixels) screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 6,000 nits. It uses Honor's Oasis Eye Protection technology and claims to have 3,840Hz frequency PWM dimming. The screen is made with Aluminosilicate glass for protection. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset with an Adreno 810 GPU, providing as much as 12GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB of storage. The Honor X70 has a 50-megapixel back camera with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). For selfies and video chatting, it has an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. For connections, the Honor X70 includes Bluetooth 5.2, Beidou, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, Galileo, Navic, NFC, QZSS, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 6, and OTG. It has sensors for ambient light, acceleration, compass, gravity, infrared, fingerprint, gyroscope, and proximity light. It also allows you to unlock the phone with 2D facial recognition. This phone also has high IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, meaning it's very protected from dust and water.
Honor says that the X70 can stay underwater for long stretches, handle hot water at high temperatures, resist strong sprays of water, and hold up against moist, salty air. The device features two stereo speakers that provide Histen 7.3 sound quality. The Honor X70 runs on an 8,300mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery that supports 80W wired charging. The model with 512GB of storage can support up to 80W of fast wireless charging and can also wirelessly charge other devices. The battery is said to provide up to 15.6 hours of constant navigation on a full charge. Its size is about 161.9x76.1x7.96mm, and it weighs 193g.
