Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is set to be released in India shortly, along with the Realme 16 Pro 5G. Although the exact launch date is not yet known, the company has already shared the design and several details about the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. Recently, the Chinese version of the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G appeared on a certification site, disclosing its main features and specifications. It is said to have a 6,850mAh battery and an octa-core processor. Additionally, it might come with a 200-megapixel main rear camera. A Realme phone identified as RMX5130 has been found on the TENAA certification site in China, showing its main features and specifications, including the processor, battery, screen, and camera setup. Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims this model number refers to the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G, which is also expected to be launched in India soon. However, this might be the version for China, so its specifications could be different from those of the Indian version.
In China, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is expected to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K (1,280x2,800 pixels), up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and support for 1.07 billion colors. It might be powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, reaching clock speeds of up to 2.8GHz. It is also expected to run on Android 16. The company is rumored to provide three operating system upgrades and four security updates for the device. The upcoming Realme 16 Pro+ 5G could have a battery capacity of 6850mAh, which might be marketed as a 7,000mAh battery. The listing further indicates that the Chinese version of the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will include a triple rear camera configuration featuring a 200-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. For selfies, it might include a 50-megapixel front camera within a hole-punch display. Regarding dimensions, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G may measure 162.45×76.27×8.49mm and weigh approximately 203g. Expected sensors onboard include a gravity sensor, a proximity sensor, and a light sensor. Moreover, the device is likely to include an in-display fingerprint scanner and facial recognition for added security.

This news follows the company’s announcement of a design partnership with the Japanese designer, Naoto Fukasawa, for the Realme 16 Pro series. Scheduled to launch in India soon, the series will be available for purchase through Flipkart and the Realme India online store. It will come in Master Gold and Master Grey, along with India-exclusive colors Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple.
