On Thursday
At Town Hall Representative Mark DeSaulnier in hosting the event, D-Concord, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Diablo Valley College cafeteria, 321 Golf Club Road, Pleasant Hill.
Letters to representatives: A postcard-signing party where people are writing about environmental concerns to their representatives. Hosted by the Sierra Club, the event is from 6:30 to 8 p.m., 1125 Fillmore St., San Francisco.
On Saturday
The Health care town hall is being hosted by Representative Mike Thompson, D-St, Helena. The event starts at 9 a.m. at Piner High School, 1700 Fulton Road, Santa Rosa.
On Sunday
The New women’s activist brunch is a meet and greet for women and members of women’s organizations working to elect progressive, pro-abortion-rights women to office.
It is being hosted by Democratic Activists for Women Now, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., 2302 Zanker Road, San Jose.
Also on Sunday, the anti-Trump planning meeting Activists organizing to resist the Trump administration will hold a general meeting from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Finnish Hall, 1970 Chestnut St., Berkeley.
On March 5
The Volunteer workshop event is being hosted by Representative Anna Eshoo, D-Palo Alto, on how to shape the 2018 election, from 2 to 4 p.m. Crowne Plaza Cabana, 4290 El Camino Real, Palo Alto. RSVP (650) 328-3700.
On March 8
A “Day Without Women” strike event will take place on 8 March. The event’s organizers behind the Women’s March on Washington are calling for a general strike to show what a day without women would look like.
