
Chicago Police Confirm that, The north western Professor wanted in connection with river north murder was taken into custody at Oakland, California, by U.S marshals Friday night.
University of oxford employee Andrew Warren,56, and Wyndham Lathem,42, were both wanted for the murder of Trenton Cornell-Duranleau,26. Warren was arrested in San Francisco by San Francisco police, while lathem was arrested by U.S Marshals in Oakland. Further details regarding them are still not disclosed.
Duranleau graduated from cosmetology school in Michigan, he had moved to Chicago recently, He lived in an apartment building in the city’s Pilsen Neighborhood only for few months.
Police said that Lanthem apologized to friends and family for his role in the stabbing video, and called it as “worst mistake of his life”.
However, police said that they could not release the video as it is also part of an active investigation. The U.S marshal visited many individuals who received the video message and assisted the police in apprehending them.
Cornell-Duranleau,26, was stabbed to death in the grand plaza apartments on the state street in the city’s affluent river north neighborhood last week, police said.
Police were called to the high rise around 8:30 p.m on July 27th after information about a crime being committed in an apartment on 10th floor.
Somebody in the late Friday afternoon had walked into the lake Geneva library and made a donation of $1000 in the name of the homicide victim.
The motive behind this donation is still not known.
