India has emerged victorious after beating New Zealand in ICC World Cup semi-finals. The match, which took place today, November 15, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai saw an incredible showdown between the two teams. While India had a strong start at the beginning of the match, they struggled a bit during New Zealand's innings. However, Team India put up an exceptional fight and made their way into the finals. As Team India won, many people took to X to share their joy. South Africa will play against Australia for the second semi-final. Whichever team wins will face India for the ICC World Cup final on November 19 in Kolkata's Eden Gardens. If India wins this championship, they will be bringing the trophy back home after 11 years.

Team India won the toss and elected to bat first. The team scored 397 for the loss of four wickets in their 50 overs. Virat Kolhi created a sensation and he scored his 50th ton in IDIs and emerged as the first ever cricketer to do it. He scored 117 in 113 balls. Shreyas Iyer (105) and Shubman Gill (80 not out) are the other top scorers for India. Chasing 398, New Zealand maintained consistency but they lost regular wickets and tumbled down for 327 in 48.5 overs. Darly Mitchell (134), Kane Williamson (69) and Glenn Phillips (41) are the other top scorers. Mohammed Shami was the man of the evening and he took seven wickets for 57 runs in 9.5 overs. Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah took one wicket each. With a victory by 70 runs, Team India is in the finals which will take place on Sunday.
