Story

The much-awaited spy action thriller of Akhil Akkineni’s Agent movie is released today in theatres. Agent success is very much interlinked with Akhil's career as the actor is struggling for one big success at Box Office even after getting a satisfactory result with Most Eligible Bachelor. Surender Reddy got a chance to prove himself after the disaster of Acharya. Let us take a look at Agent film review and see how far both impressed.

Story : P Ramakrishna (Akhil Akkineni) dreams to be a spy since childhood and gets rejected three times. At one point he hacks RAW The Devil (Mammootty) system to get noticed. Devil appoints Rickey aka Ramakrishna to find God (Dino Morea), who is an ex-Raw agent. Why God turned against Raw and the relation between God and Devil is the key slot of the story.

Analysis

Agent Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast and Crew

When we got good casting and good production values and still the output of the film fails to be a good film or fails to impress the audience. For all these questions we point at the director of the film. Yes, Surender Reddy completely failed. The story was predictable and had many illogical scenes. While the First half was okay, the second half is one more boring package. Emotional Connect completely failed. Action scenes are lengthy and yet time the scenes are unconvincing. and the writing of Vakkantham Vamsi disappoints. The climax turned silly and disappointed big time.

Positives :

Akhil's makeover

Visuals

Negatives :

Pre-Interval

Narration

Climax

Performance

Akhil Akkineni’s hard work projected on screen wonderfully. The mass angle of Akhil is unleashed with Agent. When lighter scenes came out well, scenes associated with emotion and action failed to create impact due to a lack of intensity and more loudness. The music and cinematography are okay. The productions values are impressive. Sakshi Vaidya is glamorous, but she had nothing to do with the film. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is one more useless add-on. Mammootty maintained good momentum as RAW head and he gets a meaty role in Telugu film.

Final Word

Agent is a half-baked action thriller that will leave the audience irritated. Skip this film.
