Alia Bhatt is preparing to make her first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival this year as a brand ambassador for L'Oreal Paris. She will be joined by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the brand’s long-time ambassador and a frequent attendee of the festival. The event is scheduled to run from May 13 to May 24. Reflecting on her debut at Cannes, Alia expressed, "There’s something incredibly significant about first-time experiences - and I’m thrilled to participate in this year’s Festival de Cannes, an iconic tribute to cinema and self-expression. It’s a privilege to represent L'Oreal Paris with the theme of ‘Lights, Beauty and Action’ this year."
She continued, "Beauty, to me, is all about embracing individuality, confidence, and self-esteem. It's boundless and one-of-a-kind. I take pride in standing alongside a brand that honors the journey of every woman and encourages them to illuminate their own uniqueness." In addition to strong representation from India, L'Oreal Paris will also feature its international ambassadors on the red carpet, including Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Aja Naomi King, Andie MacDowell, Simone Ashley, Elle Fanning, Bebe Vio, and Yseult. This year, the beauty brand has partnered with Nykaa, an Indian beauty e-commerce platform, as its Beauty Partner in India.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt will soon appear in Alpha alongside Sharvari. She has also teamed up with renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the film Love & War, featuring prominent roles by Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The movie is anticipated to release in theaters on March 20, 2026.
