India has managed to maintain its position in third place, increasing its count by five billionaires from last year's total of 200. This year, the total number of billionaires worldwide has exceeded 3,000, with their combined wealth reaching a staggering $16.1 trillion. Wealth is notably concentrated, as the United States, China, and India together account for over half of the billionaires on the list.
The United States leads the ranking with 902 billionaires, an increase from 813 the previous year, and they collectively possess a wealth of $6.8 trillion. The nation is home to 13 of the 15 centi-billionaires globally, including notable figures such as Elon Musk ($342 billion), Mark Zuckerberg ($216 billion), and Jeff Bezos ($215 billion). The thriving sectors of technology, finance, and entertainment in the US continue to generate significant wealth, solidifying its dominant position in both the number of billionaires and their total net worth.

In second place, China has 450 billionaires with a combined worth of $1.7 trillion, with ByteDance's Zhang Yiming at the forefront, valued at $65.5 billion. Following in third place is India, the most populated country, which now has 205 billionaires, up from 200 last year. Mukesh Ambani is recognized as the wealthiest individual in India, amassing a fortune of $92.5 billion, followed by Gautam Adani, who has a net worth of $56.3 billion.
