Poco C85 5G is set to launch in India on December 9. Before its highly awaited release, the smartphone company from China has shared details about the display size, resolution, and refresh rate. A dedicated webpage for this new phone, which was just opened, indicates that it will be available in India through Flipkart in three color options. It is expected to be 7.99mm thick. The Poco C85 5G will come with a 6,000mAh battery, which is said to provide over 106 hours of music playback. In a post on X, the Xiaomi brand has announced that the new Poco C85 5G will feature a 6.9-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of up to 810 nits, and HD+ resolution. Additionally, the Poco C85 5G's webpage on Flipkart has been updated to confirm that the screen will have several TUV certifications, such as Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian. It will also include a 200 percent Super Volume Mode for better sound outdoors.
As mentioned earlier, the Poco C85 5G is expected to be released in India on December 9 at 12pm IST. The tech company based in China has already stated that the Poco C85 5G will come in Mystic Purple, Spring Green, and Power Black colors. The front of the phone is expected to have a water drop-style notch display for the selfie camera.
The Poco C85 5G will be powered by a 6,000mAh battery, which is claimed to provide over 29 hours of using social media, more than 16 hours of viewing Instagram Reels, over 106 hours of listening to music, and more than 23 hours of chatting on WhatsApp. It will also support 33W wired fast charging and 10W wired reverse charging, allowing the phone's battery to go from 1 percent to 50 percent in about 28 minutes. For photography, it will have a dual rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel main AI camera. Reports suggest that the Poco C85 5G will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, possibly featuring two Arm Cortex A76 cores and six Arm Cortex A55 cores, achieving a peak clock speed of 2.20GHz. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 16.
